Synopsis

According to some media analysts, apparently there is an increased risk of attacks from the Internet by making use of the financial crisis. Attacks include scamming the users for information or outright cash through various phishing and other methods. In addition we also saw a spate of DDOS.

What kind of attack/s are more predominant during a financial crisis if any?

What can organisation do to mitigate such risks for both their internal users and their clients?

What are the impact of the recent DDOS on corporations that rely on the Net to transact and communicate with clients and suppliers?
