Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)

Many organisations have found that a strong GRC discipline can enable them to integrate inefficient and isolated programs, processes, and systems into effective and efficient enterprise-wide, risk-based internal control structures.  To further drive value, organisations are implementing controls monitoring tools that can help them align strategic initiatives with risk management, serve as documentation repositories, and support ongoing GRC monitoring and reporting.

This presentation will provide an introductory understanding to the audience on what is GRC, what GRC monitoring tools are available, and how these tools fit into an overall GRC framework within an organisation.

 

About the Speaker:

Brad Styles is a Director in KPMG’s Advisory Services practice in Singapore.  He has over 13 years of experience in the information technology field, focused primarily on advisory services related to ERP systems.  Prior to relocating to Singapore in 2008, Brad was the Australian leader of the ERP Advisory group, which incorporates the provision of advisory activities over large system integration projects.

Brad is a member of KPMG’s global GRC methodology development team.  He is also a member of KPMG’s global ERP Advisory leadership team and is the regional leader of KPMG’s GRC tool deployment activities.
